A concept store and small manufactory in Havixbeck, Germany: handmade acrylic earrings, suncatchers, 3D-printed objects and lovingly packed surprise bags – online and in the shop on Hauptstraße.
„Here you buy from real people who are GENUINELY happy about your order."
The people
A family business in the Münsterland
Behind "das schöne leben" are Manon Nandika Weßels and Marlon Weßels, who run the concept store in Havixbeck. The shop is workshop and store in one: open Tuesday to Friday and on Saturday mornings, with the rest of the week devoted to the online shop and their own production. The business is a member of the German "Fairness im Handel" initiative.
The product
Earrings, suncatchers and attitude
Most of the range is made in-house: acrylic DOTS earrings in many colour combinations, suncatchers with names like "Morning Dew" or "Happy Forrest", 3D-printed objects and buttons. Add to that surprise bags on themes such as "Happy Birthday" or "Sweet meets Salty", and the shop's own advent calendar.
The place
Hauptstraße 63 in Havixbeck
The store sits at Hauptstraße 63 in the centre of Havixbeck, a town west of Münster. Visitors find the same pieces that are shipped online – packed by the same hands.
