A small coffee roastery in Alling near Munich: single-farm specialty coffee from Brazil and Colombia, gently drum-roasted and packed by hand.
„Fresh from the drum roaster, delivered within one to two working days."
The people
A roaster with two origins
Behind diekleinebohne is Marcel Wöhrle, who runs his roastery in Alling near Munich. Instead of a wide range, he focuses on two carefully chosen single-farm coffees. Every new harvest is cupped on arrival and only released for production roasting once it passes.
The product
Two coffees with a clear character
Espresso Brasil is 100% arabica of the Yellow Bourbon and Yellow Catuaí varieties from Fazenda Sertão, pulped natural: sweet, full-bodied and low in acidity, with caramel, cocoa and roasted nuts. Filter Colombia brings washed Castillo and Caturra from La Roma farm, with notes of honey, berries and nuts.
The place
Roasted near Munich, packed in Alling
Roasting happens on a 45 kg Giesen drum roaster - deliberately in 40 kg batches only and at no more than 216 °C for a more even roast. Packing is done by hand in Alling. Alongside private customers, the roastery supplies hotels, cafés and offices around Munich with more than 5,000 kg of specialty coffee a year.
