EL PUENTE GmbH from Nordstemmen in Lower Saxony is behind one of Germany's oldest fair trade ranges. The team is personally available on weekdays – by phone and email – and looks after local collection customers as well as the online shop. In 2001 the company founded the El Puente Foundation to put its work on a reliable long-term footing.
From fairly traded coffee – including a coffee subscription with ten percent savings – to spices, teas and groceries, fashion, wellness and home accessories: El Puente brings fair trade products together in one shop. Partner brands such as Conflictfood, fairfood and Chocolatemakers complement its own range, and a world shop finder points to brick-and-mortar stores.
El Puente is based at Lise-Meitner-Strasse 9 in Nordstemmen near Hildesheim. From here, fairly traded goods are shipped to customers all over Germany – free of shipping costs for orders over 75 euros.
