Founder Hendrike Grubert worked in law firms in Germany and Switzerland after studying law. In 2009, alongside an office job and two small children, she started making natural cosmetics herself – the hobby became PonyHütchen. Today a team of women makes every product by hand in Berlin.
Effective and natural at once: organic ingredients such as coconut and argan oil, solid shampoos with a pH of 5.5, cold-processed facial soaps and a deodorant cream that lasts all day. Packaging and a refill system are part of the plan, so your bathroom becomes plastic-free step by step.
Everything is made in the former lamp factory in Berlin-Oberschöneweide, a historic industrial building right on the river Spree. To try the products in person, visit the store at Boxhagener Straße 113 in Friedrichshain, which also hosts DIY workshops on soaps, bath bombs and deodorant cream.
