„Small differences in size and shade are the proof of genuine handwork."

Shapes and sizes have stayed the same for years so pieces can always be re-ordered – from the 50 ml espresso cup and the 430 ml farmhouse mug to the giant mug holding 650–700 ml. Every mug is glazed glossy brown inside; lettering such as "Mama", "Papa", "Oma", "Opa" or a custom text is applied by hand.
Workshop and shop sit at Westbergstraße 3 in Crimmitschau. Firing is done in a two-stage process: first at 950 °C unglazed, then with a food-safe inner glaze and two matte outer layers that melt into lively surfaces in the second firing.
